And the Vote is in!

It was a hard decision with such entries as Otto, Octavia, Nautilus Compass Rose, Inky, DeeVeePus, Dolcepus, Vitapus, Ollie, Nauti Rose!  The final answer is...........(drum roll, please!).........

INKY ROSE!

I picked Rose from Ed's sister's contribution of Compass Rose (as well as my favorite niece having that name!).   I also couldn't bypass Inky since the octopus, Inky, is in one of my fav movies,  Finding Nemo!  Thanks to our friend, Bill, our fellow sailor who joined us a couple of times during the last trip, for this contribution.
Thank you to everyone for offering your very interesting choices of names! It has given me a lot of fun receiving them.  I loved them!

Here are all the photos of Inky Rose.  Some have been posted before.  She's been wanting a page all to herself, so here goes (pardon my regression to childhood)!!

Capt. Ed is teaching me how to sail!  Look at me!!!!!  "mom" went below rather quickly when she saw me!  I wonder why?
I'm swinging!

My favorite spot
I love waving hi to everyone!

Helping the Captain grill steaks!  Not sure why he got impatient with me.  I was trying to keep the grill tools from blowing away in the wind, I wasn't trying to keep the case closed on him!

I keep hanging on!  Isn't there a song with those words?

I am going on my first excursion off the boat!  Are we there yet?, Are we there yet?, Are we there yet?, Are we there yet?, etc.

We are there!  I can see so many things in "mom's" backpack!  Look at those waves and all those shells just waiting to be picked!
Shh..... "mom's" not looking......I am going to eat some of
her lunch! I'm glad I ''m sitting behind "dad's" back.  Lucky for her, I left her some!

Can you tell who's who?  We were particularly cold day this day!

I was so hungry, but all they gave me was water!  That chile sure looked tasty!  I wouldn't know, I didn't get a bite of it!
Coffee does hit the spot on a cold morning!

Now this is more like it!  But before I could drink any, I was told I was underage!  I gave them my ID, but I don't think they believed me!

Joan is now back.  Thanks for bearing with me in my storytelling of Inky Rose.  She'll be back!

Fair Winds to All!

Joan
