During our first trip we anchored in Georgetown, SC. We didn't go into town. This trip we tied up to one of the free town docks and walked the small town of Georgetown. We were not allowed to keep our boat there overnight, so we had to anchor out.
The fine for being there overnight was $1,092.50. A very odd number for a fine. We couldn't figured how they came up with this!

The town was ready for Fall. |

Another entrance to another Public Dock. |
We seem to find festivals almost everywhere we go! They had tents set up for food and live music. There were food vendors and bands up and down the street.

We had lunch at a Southern chain - Groucho's Deli. |

This restaurant had these neat statuary outside their front door! |

We missed the vendor display, but Georgetown has a St. Mary Church - a little bit of home in SC! | | | | |
It was a cute little town. I am glad we got a chance to see it.
Fair Winds to All!
